RISTORANTE LA CAPINERA

The owner of the Restaurant La Capinera, Pietro D’Agostino, was born in Taormina and attended the most prestigious Culinary Academy of the island: this was the starting point of an extremely successful international career. Today, the chef D’Agostino in its own restaurant proposes the richness of the Sicilian cuisine, elaborating it with creativity and innovation, personally choosing all the ingredients of his dishes; the wine selection is updated with the same care, featuring over one thousand labels, mostly of small Sicilian producers. Bread, flat cakes, breadsticks and sweets are all home-made, the menus are based on fresh fish according to the availability of the market. A special attention is dedicated to biological foods, also coming from Slow Food Protection, and to dishes free of gluten.
