Formerly a private dwelling, the Hotel Villa Duse is a welcoming little hotel located in the residential neighbourhood of Parioli in the heart of Rome, just a few minutes away from Piazza di Spagna, near the greatest places of cultural interest such as the Museum of Villa Borghese, the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art and the Auditorium. The name of the hotel derives from the “Divine” Eleonora Duse, a famous theatre actress, whom the young poet Gabriele D'Annunzio fell in love with. The allure of their passion comes back to life in this Art Nouveau style building where the elegant and refined rooms are pervaded by a romantic atmosphere.
Rooms: 15 Double room - 3 Junior Suite
The furnishings of each room have been personally selected by the owners who bought many pieces of furniture in Roman antique shops. The style of period furniture, the elegant boiseries and the cosiness of the rooms create a unique atmosphere in each room. All the 15 rooms have finishes and valuable objects such as precious paintings and bathrooms in marble, while some of them have wide private gardens or terraces. All the rooms are equipped with Sat TV with plasma screen and free WIFI internet connection.
